My name is Taiya.

I’m a mama of 2 with 15 years of medical billing experience.

I had my first babe during Covid. With the sketchiness surrounding hospitals, I opted for a birth center. I had always dreamed of a home birth, but living with my in-laws made a homebirth a little awkward.

With our second, I knew it was my time to shine! I went into a homebirth thinking I had to foot the whole bill. I had no idea that insurances would cover midwifery, doulas or homebirths – boy, was I wrong!

I decided to combine my paths as a homebirth mama and a medical biller, and Three Birds Billing was born.
